The loose-joint upgrade (the loose-joints system) is a customization option where the tension of the doll's internal metal skeleton is reduced. This allows the limbs (arms and legs) to move much more smoothly and with less physical effort than with standard joints.

This feature is particularly suitable when the doll is in bed and you want to lie next to her for cuddling. This upgrade is not suitable for sex positions, photography, and posing.

When should you NOT choose the loose-joint upgrade?
Because the joints have less resistance, they also offer less structural support. You should not choose this if:
- The doll needs to be able to stand independently: the skeleton cannot support the weight with loose joints to stand on its own.
- The doll needs to be able to sit independently: without support from a backrest, wall, or couch, the doll cannot reliably hold a sitting posture.
